Mark was possibly facing incarceration and was struggling with substance abuse. Noticing his high level of anxiety, his public defender recommended Sycamores’ Full Service Partnership program. Although reluctant to participate, the program’s hands-on approach showed Mark that people cared and that he had the strength to heal and change his circumstances. After receiving assistance through the program, Mark now has the motivation and skills to create a better life. As a result of Mark’s amazing personal transformation, all court charges were dropped, and his record was expunged.
While government contracts fund many of our programs, they do not cover all of Sycamores critically needed services. This is why generous donations from people and organizations committed to equitable mental health services is a critical component of Sycamores’ success. Donations increase access to basic resources that make housing a reality for those who need it, support education and learning for at-risk children and youth, and connect disadvantaged individuals with countless other necessities and systems of support. Sycamores is grateful to be able to partner with companies who generate donations while you shop for groceries, gifts and more.

In-kind and/or cash donations are also greatly appreciated from corporations. Some examples of ways corporations support Sycamores include being a generous sponsor of our Celebrating Children Spring Gala or providing matching gifts for donations by the corporation's employees.
